Refund policy

This policy explains how Event Biologic Inc. handles payments and refunds for the EVENT Collection Kit and Professional Specimen Custody.

1. EVENT Collection Kit

The EVENT Collection Kit is a one-time, $49.99 purchase and is refundable in full if you cancel before your kit ships. Once your kit has shipped, it is non-refundable, since collection materials and processing capacity are committed on a per-order basis at that point. Purchasing a kit does not start Professional Specimen Custody or any recurring charge; a kit may remain unused indefinitely at no additional cost.

2. Professional Specimen Custody

Professional Specimen Custody begins only when you activate a collection (Reference or Event) and is billed per preserved collection, not per kit purchased or per customer. Each custody term is $120, covering 12 months for that specific preserved collection. Custody for a given collection is refundable in full if you cancel before that specimen has been accessioned into custody. Once a specimen is in custody, the annual fee for that term is non-refundable, whether custody is later cancelled, allowed to lapse, or destruction is requested partway through the term. If you maintain custody of multiple preserved collections (for example, a Reference and a later Event), each is billed and refunded independently under this policy.

3. Requesting Destruction Is Not a Refund

You may request destruction of a specimen at any time under our Terms of Service. Requesting destruction does not entitle you to a refund of any amount already paid for the current or any prior custody term for that collection.

4. How Approved Refunds Are Issued

Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method. Please allow a reasonable processing time for the refund to appear, depending on your payment provider.
